She had achieved immense and worldwide international recognition from her fans and critiques for her amazing portrayal of Sibylla, the once Queen of Jerusalem in Ridley Scott’s directed historical epic- the movie‘Kingdom of Heaven’ in the year 2005.
In the immediately following year, she had played Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the much-acclaimed James Bond movie Casino Royale in the year 2006, for which she even received the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
Green has, ever since then also starred in various independent films, including Cracks in the year 2009, Womb the year 2010, and Perfect Sense the year 2011.
In the year 2014, she had played Artemisia in the 300 sequels, ‘300: Rise of an Empire’, and also played Ava Lord in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City sequel, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’.
Green is also famously known for her collaborations with director Tim Burton, starring as Angelique Bouchard in the horror-comedy movie Dark Shadows the year 2012, Miss Alma Peregrine in the fantasy movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children the year 2016, and also as Colette Marchant in the fantasy film Dumbo the year 2019.
Green had starred as Morgan Pendragon in the Starz historical fantasy series Camelot the year 2011. She had also starred as Vanessa Ives in the Showtime horror drama series Penny Dreadful from the year 2014–2016, which also help her in earning a nomination for the category ‘Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama’ at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.
