Demi Lovato has been one of the conservatives in the music industry for quite some time. But, as everything changes, her act too changed and her more recent acts have been about expressing what she has been suppressing so far. Or, she could just be catering to the market demand.
She is a fighter. For the longest time, she stayed closeted, protecting herself from the attacks of the public. But lately, Demi has been acting out a role-model persona. She has been promoting self-confidence, anti-bullying, and anti-harassment.

With this transformation, she has become a more sexually opened person. Her recent collaboration with Clean Bandit-“Solo” is quite sexually charged as well. Demi’s 2017 track “Lonely” has a similar meaning to the above song. The original features a rap from Lil’ Wayne as well.
