At 11, she was an actress. In an interview, she explained, “I always loved storytelling. It was just something I genuinely wanted to do and I could’ve done anything, really. I had every opportunity on the planet,” she added.
She gained recognition after performing in the Percy Jackson (2010–2013, film series). She has starred in Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) and Songbird (2020). Daddario has two younger siblings, named Matthew and Catharine, who are both actors as well. She grew up on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
She attended Brearley School and the Professional Children’s School in New York City. She attended Marymount Manhattan College before dropping out to continue acting full-time. However, she has studied Meisner techniques for years.
Daddario starred in the action film San Andreas (2015) alongside Dwayne Johnson, aka Rock. Recently, she appeared in the crime thriller film Die in a Gunfight (2021). She voiced the character, Lois Lane, in Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020).
She appeared as a guest for White Collar (2009, TV series). Daddario also guest-starred in the sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005, TV series).
Recently, she starred in the first season of The White Lotus (2021). She gained attention and worldwide praise.
